The Ruiter Valley Land Trust is a conservation organization located in Potton in the Eastern Townships.
It is a non-profit organization (NPO) that works to protect a large territory that is part of the Sutton Mountains range, and that offers trails, activities and training to the population.
Little known to the general public, the Land Trust is nevertheless recognized in the conservation community, in the Eastern Townships and throughout Quebec, for its commitment and the historical role it has played.
In this corner of Potton, the Land Trust borders the Green Mountains Nature Reserve and the Vallée-du-Ruiter Ecological Reserve. Together, these three territories form a unique conservation area.
The Land Trust is dedicated first and foremost to conservation, but also offers a network of free trails.
The territory protected by the Land Trust now extends beyond the Ruiter Valley.
